Out In Front launched with its first Business Social Mixer held at Indigo Grille, previously in Huntington. With the help of Alina Wylzinski of OP/LYNX and Concetta Spirio more than 40 people were welcomed. The turnout was an indication to Executive Director and founder, Bridgette Nicolini, that her hunch was correct, there was an need to be filled within our community and it meant "business". Out In Front launches its first Business Forum titled "Vision for Success".
Hosted and sponsored by National Grid in their Melville location, the event garnered the original 35 Charter members.
